Write for this Blog!
September 30th, 2008
EastofLA.com is looking for contributing writers to share their passions on this blog. Amateur & professional contributors are welcome. Looking for those passionate about independent music, events & art, especially, but not exclusive to, residents of Southern California
All your work will be credited & we’re open to creative ideas and columns. The only commitment is at least 1 post a week to be recognized as a contributing writer. If your already that person that people turn to when something is new or hot, its actually a more efficient way of informing them than telling all your friends one by one!
We do have a great platform, a great looking site, & pretty decent traffic for you to build off of. Some benefits of contributing to this blog can include: Increasing your profile as a writer or blogger, driving traffic to your blog or site, & networking opportunities. There are some not-so lucrative incentives for the especially motivated =)
If your interested! Shoot me an email Gopi [-at-] EastofLA.com.
- Read our “About Us” & “State of the Blog 2009” to get a complete idea of our goals, ambitions, & guiding principles.
- Introduce yourself, let us know if your interested & why
- Shoot us to any links of previous posts or work you have done (if any)
- Share with us at least 5-8 blog post links which if contributed to East of L.A. would make it a better website & very briefly why…
If all looks good you can be posting within 24-48 hours!
Thanks!
Gopi Sangha
