A white rabbit riding bmx + dancing women in tutus + some heavy 808s and dope lyrics = Zion I’s new video. Here is the OKP world premiere for Zion I’s Alice In Wonderland themed video, “Geek To The Beat” (dir. M.A.Y.O.). Zion I’s new album, The Takeover is in stores now. - OKP
Beyond all the stupid effects and MTV visual crazyness that music videos are consumed by, it’s absolutely amazing to see such a well produced video that follows some basic principles like narrative, imagery and some reoccurring themes. You can watch this video a half-dozen times and find something new in it… instead of Wonderland, your in OAKland… the viewer is Alice & Zumbi is your enthusiastic Mad Hatter! Props to M.A.Y.O. for directing one of the best videos I’ve come across in ‘09.

wow, despite the jumpy internet connection Im working with, this video was a blast all the way thru, Ill admit Im a little late with the Zion- I crew, their performance @ UCR and this Video though have got me bagged..!
