Dujeous | No Clearance Mixtape
April 8th, 2009

This 7 member Hip Hop band out of NYC called Dujeous recently released a free mixtape of reworked samples of the likes Steve Miller Band, John Denver and even Dolly Parton. I’m really excited about this. I’ve been meaning to post something on band for awhile but wanted to wait to the server got back up running. I admit I’m a little late to Dujeous. I first heard about them last year with the release of single “Break Bread” and as many has before I can’t say enough great things about this group. This is great music right here. The only thing troublesome about Dujeous is constant drug references and sex talk. Too much for my taste but may might not be for you.
“For the past three months, through Thanksgiving, Xmas, New Year’s, and the Inauguration, DUJEOUS has brought you a new track Tuesday after Tuesday, each featuring impossible-to-clear samples from folks like Dolly Parton and The Budos Band, and each available for FREE. But all good things must come to an end. As such, this is the last week of the No Clearance series, and as promised, we’re dropping the entire series of joints from the past 12 weeks, along with a couple of never-heard-before bonus tracks ”
