Ghostface Killah l Ghostdeini The Great
January 1st, 2009

Tony Starks. Ironman. Pretty Toney. Ghostdeini. GFK. Whatever you to refer to this man as, it is impossible to deny that Ghostface Killah is not only one of the most interesting characters in the Wu Tang Clan but within the entire sub-culture of Hip Hop itself.
Over this past year, I have grown to appreciate this man more and more. The two LPs that have not left my iPod this entire year are Supreme Clientele and Fishscale. And why might that be? I think it is the way he has perfected his sound. Ghosftace has this swagger that is grimey and soulful all at the same time. He’s got the ability to capture you within the first few bars almost every single time and hold your attention for the rest of the song.
Ghostface has had such a successful career that recently his a compilation of some of his greatest hits along with some remixes of those songs have been released. I recently picked this up and I wanted to let you all know that this LP is a must for any Ghostface fan or the new Ghostface who has discovered him recently and wants to get a crash course in greatness. And all for you Latinos reading this, Ghostdeini would be a dope gift to give out to your favorite Hip Hop fan for El Dia De Los Reyes Magos
Below are links to three of my favorite cuts from the LP, plus a personal favorite Wu Tang track featuring Ghostface.
