Kid Harpoon l First We Take Manhattan (mp3) Riverside (video)

I’ve always considered myself to be somewhat of a late bloomer. Sometimes, I seem to come up on things months or years after its hit its peak. In this case, I may have found this kid a little later than some but I am glad I found him at all.
That kid is Kid Harpoon to be exact. Hailing from Chatham, Kent, England Kid Harpoon has been making noise since about 2006, releasing two six track EPs entitled The First EP and The Second EP the later of which was released this past February and features his lead single entitled “Riverside”. I found the “Riverside” music video while browsing through BBC2 videos and was pleasantly surprised as I had only clicked on it as the name Riverside, which also happens to be the name of the university which I graduated from, caught my attention. As it turns out “Riverside” is on some “Kim” by Eminem shit; dark, captivating and something many could probably relate to.
Below are two videos, one is a clip from BBC2’s “The Sound” where Kid Harpoon is featured. The second is the video for Kid’s lead single, “Riverside.” Followed by some mp3s for you to enjoy as well.
