ROFL he sampled The Jets songs. It could have been executed better but it’s a cool idea. “head knocking beats” I wouldn’t go that far. Count Bass D is one of those cats who leans to far into the abstract to make decent music. Some of the elements of the songs good and then he layers wackness on top of goodness. As a producer he’s inconsistent and all over the place. He needs more focus like a DJ Muggs or Kenny Parker.

what abstract artists have I written about. Sirah One,M Team,Royce Da 5′ 9″, The Beatnuts,DJ Quik,Dred Scott,Jedi Mind Tricks,3rd Bass,Ras Kass,Cypress Hill,The Antidotes,Seal,Q Tip,Eminem. When have I posted bunk sh*t? I post classics and new goodness.
It’s not my fault you can’t tell goodness from wackness. I think you should upgrade your taste in music homey. Aren’t you the one who claimed lil wayne was a good rapper? You have yet to explain why he is so.

Look my only problem with you is that you apparently seem to think its your way or the highway. Your posts have always caught my attention but not everything you post is solid gold either man. I enjoy Lil Wayne, he isn’t the best fucking rapper in the world by any means but he’s entertaining. Period.
Besides, relax. We are just talking about a blog here yo lol.

LMAO… The bloggoshpere is hilarious, you gotta love it. “What ever tickles your fancy”, Count Bass D is a solid artist that has a really diverse background in music. His feature LP ” L7″ vastly differs from ” Robbed without a Gun” which is an experimental endeavor that he released for free for folks like us to criticize.. or rather listen to. I listened to it and thought some of the beats were “head knocking”,.. stop frontin’
Count bass D is a cat that is religious to the music. I support, and i think most of us on the blog support any artist who is faith full to their craft. The Beatnuts, Quik, Seal, EM and even ‘Lil Wayne’ whether you choose to recognize it or not, are all in that category. | SIDE NOTE: OUR BLOG IS THE SHIT.
