Let me preface this by stating, F.olk might just be the finest producer you might not have heard of. As part of the group Late Bloomers, F.olk contributes production as well as emceeing and song writing. Recently he has stepped away from the mic for a bit, in order to focus on production, allowing him to experiment with influences from varied genres. “Pontificatin” is one of these tracks; displaying a heavy house/electronic influence, while “Angie” uses an Angie Stone vocal sample, with a heavy synth over trap drum stylings, giving the production that ‘bounce’. Both highly enjoyable songs, which if you hadn’t heard previously, introduces you to the production mind that is F.olk. Look out for F.olk’s next instrumental EP, Moving Things, set for release soon.
