Here is a new single from the D.C. kid, produced by  Mark Ronson.  Ronson recently signed  Wale and Rhymefest to his label and is working with Wale on his freshman LP Entitled  Back to the Feature. Wale is a solid M.C., with a delivery that is full of swagger and style.  His remix of Justice- D.A.N.C.E. helped him take off with the hipster circuit and even gave him a cosign from the audacious crew.  Check the kid out..

  1. I heard the name before but never listened to Wale rhyme before today. He got a flow and voice similar to Murs. This track got interested but I need to hear more to see if he’s a real mc or a just hipster wannabe. That pic with Lindsay definitely don’t help. lol
I gonna have to track down that back to feature album and give it a listen.

  2. Hamza just DL his “Mixtape About Nothing”… honestly I was a bit of a hater before I heard the mixtape about nothing, being a Seinfeld a fan myself, shit was pretty dope. I wasn’t and still don’t feel his itunes single “Nike Boots”, I think he’s another emcee that is just going to find himself very fast, he’s going to have to catch up to all that media hype he’s been getting and I think he’s doing that already.

  4. @ Jabulani, uhmm all you got to do is click on the “Audio MP3″ button underneath the streaming player, right click it and press “Save Target As” or something, you should be good.

    ….enjoy

I like the Murs comparison, but he’s got a smoother flow over the ‘go go’ type beats…

Paint a Picture & his ill Vibes Lyrical Refreshment are the best mixtapes to date IMO

Also, have 100 Miles and Runnin’ somewhere…..

  6. You have to be from the DMV to appreciate NIKE Boots…Its a tribute to the area. There are so many references you wont get if you arent from there.
