Memorial Day Weekend May 24 – 25, 2009

It’s weekends like these which make you fully appreciate every moment of living in a beautiful place like sunny Southern California. Memorial Day weekend for music lover’s around here has become synonymous with the nation’s largest student-organized music festival, the 23rd Annual U.C.L.A Jazz Reggae Festival. Pre-Sale tickets to the festival are an absolute bargain at $25.00 a day ($35 at the door, still a great price.) Weather is supposed to be sunny and in the mid-70’s, beautiful college folk will running around, there will be an array of vendors & edible delicacies, and not to mention the incredible sounds of Erykah Badu, De La Soul, Movado & People Under The Stairs (plus a stacked lineup of even more amazing talent.) I can almost guarantee if your in So.Cal this Sunday & Monday, there’s little else you can be doing which will fill your soul and ear’s with more good vibes, than to take a trip down to U.C.L.A.
