The Chef and Tony Starks do it again. The first track, Crimonology 2, is a strong song with a nice Scarface sound bite in the intro. The second track, Yes Sir, took me a few listens to warm up too. I am not a fan of Crooked I, honestly, but I think he did a pretty good job on this track. I know there has to be some die hard Crooked I fans out there so I hope you enjoy this track. So start your Saturday right and grab these songs. Peace!

This is the exactly the type of song I would have had on heavy rotation as a freshmen in college. It’s a solid track though! Che Grand ft. production by Illmind, “Streets”, off Blaps Rhymes & Life Vol 2 dropping sometime today..

K’naan is an artist I’ve always seen float around the blogosphere, but for some reason I never explored or gave an honest listen to. However I ran across this freestyle earlier today, and its real dope, conscious, poetic & has an global flavor.. he’s been added to the 2009 Coachella line-up as well… This is a Hip Hop artist who now demands attention.

I’ve enjoyed The Knocks remixes and production for some time… remixing up Passion Pit’s “Sleepyhead” they’ve put together a real nice funky pop hit.

I really expected more out of this collaboration. Wayne puts together a trashy “Prom Queen” and follows up with more uninspired music. Wayne may just be losing his hungar.
