And Fox News wonders why Nas is so upset, haha. Check out his latest performance, backed by a full band, on CBS’s Letterman from last Wednesday Night (Aug.27,’08)
Common is following his lead single “Universal Mind Control” up with another gem “Announcement” ft. Pharrell. It’s coupled with a fresh ass video (& on some more homo shit, both are flossing some dope ass threads). The very hard to find mp3 is below for your downloading & listening pleasure…
Damn the Magic Trade Show has become the crossroads for hip hop & fashion. My confidence in Mos Def’s new material has been on a bit of a downward spiral… however its really fresh to see him dropping a freestyle over a dope beat like “Millie.”
Plus props to my boy DJ Hyphy Crunk who just happens to be standing next to Mos throughout the whole video..haha
T.I.’s new track features a sample from M.I.A’s “Paper Planes” with Kanye West, Jay-Z, and Lil Wayne. Watch out for this one on T.I.’s new and upcoming fourth release, Paper Trail on September 30!
Yo, Whats good? This is Bhavik, first post, Here is a video of Kanye’s “Good Morning”. Murakami is hitting the west real hard right now (no pun intended), thanks to some really high profile hip hop friends & some extravagant museum exhibits. Haven’t seen a video this hot in a long time.
As frustrating the “scene” can get, it still produces some cool shit. Check out Vavan & Treaxy from France doing some “Tecktonik Dancing” (or “Hard Dancing”). Its a whole lot cooler than that hipster 2 steps that rages across dance floors today, and seems like its a lot more fun. They got about a half dozen videos up on youtube. I haven’t seen this around L.A. and am curious on how popular it is in Europe. (Cause it could be 2 crazy Euro Guys that are Youtube Savvy, but then again it does have 5.6 million views).
If your curious about the track, its a remix of Yelle’s ”A Cause Des Garcons” by Tepr. Tepr (Also from France) has some hot ass remixes which are being included below as well. He also plays the Synth in Yelle’s live band…
