Nine Inch Nails
Nine Inch Nails is currently on a large-scale tour which has recently brought them to Perth, Australia where they performed at the massive Soundwave Festival. For this special performance of “Wish”, they brought out the incredibly dope mathcore band, The Dillinger Escape Plan. Here’s  HD footage of their sick performance:

post Metallica Live @ The Forum 12/18/2008

Metallica Live

Wassup everybody. Just wanted to introduce myself real quick. J. Paz here, I’m glad to be a part of the East of L.A. team. I hope we can get to know each other a little better here and share some good music.

The first CD that one becomes addicted to in their youth always leaves a great impression upon the way that that person searches out their music and what kind of music they look for. I remember the day that homie Bryan from Echo Park brought over two CDs for us to listen to while we tried to beat Resident Evil; they were Ice Cube’s Predator and Metallica’s Master of Puppets. I enjoyed the Ice Cube LP,  but not in the way I enjoyed the Metallica album. I memorized every note every word of that album, it was surreal the amount of energy and emotion that came out of my stereo while this album was playing.

Unfortunately, I still have not been able to catch one of their live shows, but I’ve run across their live show from The Inglewood Forum on December 18, 2008. So I pass it along to you, along with a selection of my personal favorite tracks from the show, and I hope you enjoy it as much I do.

If your like me, and you dig zombies, heavy metal & have about 8 minutes to spare, you could find this pretty entertaining. Knowing the stats of this site, that may not be very many of you… but oh well.
